Real. Perceptive. Curious. Skilled.
Hey! I’m Chalice (she/her), a licensed psychotherapist servicing clients in Georgia and Florida. I aid the clients I serve in becoming bolder, more vibrant versions of themselves. I have practiced individual and group counseling for nearly a decade providing care to all ages and I’m excited to help people build upon their creativity and utilize it to live a life aligned with their vision.
It is my belief that we all possess creative abilities and that tapping into them allow us to heal ourselves and assist us in cultivating a life we are deserving of. My creative journey began at the age of 4, singing EnVogue to a group of family members in the kitchen at my Little Tikes microphone. From there, I have explored creativity through musical instruments, home decor, event curation, director positions and so much more. As of current, I enjoy writing, in which some of my work is illustrated on my Instagram page.
Utilizing my creativity to give voice to my emotions has been an empowering journey and I hope to guide clients on honing into the superpower of creativity as well. Within the therapy room, you can expect for me to demonstrate a holistic, culturally competent, trauma informed lense that promotes the use of positive psychology and mindfulness techniques to support and foster growth. I trust that you are the expert of your own life and I strongly desire to work collaboratively with you to help you get the most out of this therapeutic experience.
In addition to providing therapy and self-care coaching, I am also the creator of The Conscious Queen, a mental wellness platform. I also offer support to startups and small businesses in enhancing workplace wellness and I provide professional development training for fellow mental health clinicians.
I received my undergraduate degree from Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University in Psychology and graduate degree from St. John Fisher College in Mental Health Counseling. Throughout such coursework, I gained extensive knowledge regarding Black Psychology and the Narrative Therapy perspective. I have received additional training in positive psychology, mindfulness, neuroscience and relationships.
It has been an honor to serve as a guest speaker for various summits and podcasts on topics regarding mental health and wellness.
